When Life gives you lemons...

Hi Ladies,
Now that the cold seasons set in, we have to take extra particular care of our skin. Here's a natural approach to citric acid to remove dead cell and bring the glow back.
As you will see on this video, (made by Viera Luck, SHOUT OUT TO YOU GIRL!)She will be showing a regimen with lemon juice to brighter and youthful skin for the summer, but I think you could do this all year long.
I tried it and I have sensitive skin, my only recommendation for the ones who has the same type of skin as me, I would suggest to do it once or twice a week, because I end-up with a mild irritation, but my black spot did fade out (lol!).
So let me know what you think girls, and post your before and after pictures.
Much Love!

Natural shampoo

Hi ladies,
As you know I'm on a natural hair quest, on that note, I'm also searching for natural products (that are not expensive) for my girls and I.
It is very important, since certain shampoo have a high level of sulfate, and we understand now how does harsh ingredients strip out all the sebum on our scalp (FYI: the more our hair is coil the less natural oil we have), and we need our natural oil (sebum) to promote more growth.
SLS is also commonly found in detergents used for cleaning garage floors and engines so could you imagine what it's doing to your hair and your scalp? Here's a solution to this dilemma, check out the video below with the ingredients and steps and let me know what you think...

The power of certain words...

Hi ladies!
Often times, we don't think twice when we use certain words, they are words that are more obvious not to use then others for their offensive definition, even do we still use them like “BICTH” or “HEIFER” and many more, (Not proud to say I’m guilty of this crime too) but I did not for seek word like “Nappy” to have a degrading connotation, I really thought the word was used to embrace our Afro-Ethnicity. As we know, all words have they origin, and not making the proper research about it, we might not realize the true meaning. After listening to “Misskrisnew” on Youtube I feel that she made a valid point about the use of the word “Nappy”. Starting now, I will make a conscious effort not to use this word as an adjective to describe our Afro-hair.
Please watch this video and let me know your opinion on this matter.
God bless…

What is this world coming too?
I could not believe my eyes yesterday when I saw this on the news...
Could you imagine the new beauty treatment for pedicure is called "Fish Pedicure". Yes you read it right! To exfoliate your feet and make it all "PWETTY". I don't see how since these fishes are toothless???? I also wonder how hygienic it would be for these little fishes to eat other peoples fungus...(I'm about to gag!). Do they change these tanks after every wash? What would P.E.T.A say about feeding these poor small creatures; human dead skin cells. (Oops! Sorry, I think my dinner when up my throat.)
Watch it for yourself and let me know what you think.
I personally don't think it's right. We really don't need to go to that extent for beauty.
